On the evenings of October 22nd and 23rd, Rotarians Diane and Jim Ives, Pam Petitpren and Crystal Jahn and friends of Rotary Heather Hyslop and Esther Stevens hosted two fund raising dinners in support of Rotary's End Polio Now campaign.
With a full house both nights, these two dinners raised double of what they did last year. (The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation continues its 2-to-1 match of every dollar donated to ending the scourge of polio.)
Although eradication efforts have been set back slightly by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the wild strain of polio only remains in Pakistan and Afghanistan. For more information on the global eradication effort and to make a donation, please visit:
