In response to the massive tornado that swept Kentucky on December 10th, local Rotarians Diane and Jim Ives organized and delivered 4,400 pounds of food, water and personal items donated from local sources.

The relief drive began in earnest on December 15th with the supplies delivered on December 22nd to Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The quick response was largely due to Rotary's connections from the St. Clair Club to our local District 6330 and then to Kentucky's District 6710.

With a matching grant from the Chuck and Dee Howey Family Foundation, over $50,000 was also raised and provided to District 6710 to use for disaster relief in their stricken area.
